Pros and cons of GoPro Player for Hero 4 app for iPhone and iPad

GoPro Player for Hero 4 app good for

Excellent, it works on my iPhone 4 with iOS 7. It has a delay from 0.5 to 3 seconds, but solves the problem of official GoPro App, in which preview doesnt work on iPhone 4.
The official gopro app requires so many extra steps and non sense in the app....but this one works super quick and simple for a preview. I am still on an iPhone 4 with ios7 so things are laggy, or dont work with the official gopro app. So this was perfect! Thanks

Some bad moments

For some reason Im only able to control the recording feature but I cannot see the live video
Store rep made it seem like a wonderful gadget... Cant connect my remote device to it.
I purchased this app as a bundle for $5. Not worth it even if it was free. Stick to the GoPro app from GoPro. I had the hardest time getting this app to function. Pairing, viewing ect. Then trying to go back to the GoPro app caused me to delete everything and start over.
If a camera video display with a faster response is all you need, maybe this minimalist app is enough. All this all it does. Id vote for the free GoPro App over this. The GoPro app has lots of lag, but it also gives you complete control of all the settings. I look forward to this app adding pull downs for the key camera settings on the side of the video.
At this time this app is not working with the current IOS version (9-9.1)
